Since we last spoke about Aussie noisemaker DOS4GW, it’s been confirmed that his name is actually pronounced doss-four-gee-double-you, not dosage as I’d previously thought. In this interim, he also released a choose-your-own-adventure-styled drone project, as well as a choice remix of the title cut from Tomorrow Kings’ late-2013 “Witch Hunt Disco” banger Nigger Rigged Time Machine.
DOS4GW wasn’t alone in this remixing effort; he received an assist from hip-slopper countryman Aoi on the turntables. Of course, the stars of the show remain Tomorrow Kings, a Chicago octet whose lyrics are every bit as embracably brash and abrasive as their song titles. For example: “Removing a human jaw makes every word a homonym/ My nigger rigged Tesla coil runs on malaise and Klonopin/ Monolith of ex text apologies and white rapper uptalk/ Left me a front lawn away from Aryan skulls on my front lawn.”
