Designated bell ringer rings the bell while schlepping it across a simple landscape, as though the cartoon cat got to the fish again and left the bones of the land alone with a bell and a bell ringer. Bumping interstate arteries with new ones first cranked out in 1912. Over one hundred years later across prefab, someone is raking their yard of dirt when someone else stones their neighbor with a rock from their neighbor’s yard. It’s getting to the point where the idea of personal property has eroded so bad that we have to put tiny little fences around our rocks too, lest someone get too big of an idea of what to do with my rock. And if we can grow tiny little thumb tomatoes up and down our tiny little fences, well, then that’s a good start to the next hundred years or so. See you then.
