♫♪  Dane Law - r.bit

Imagine coming across unchartered ocean in a quagmire of event. Say there’s been a tectonic shift and half the world’s ocean is just sucked into and boiled by the Earth’s core. So now it’s like this weird haze (most of the time) instead of rain, and it just makes you feel sick; like a head ache in a bad dream, but it’s not a dream: it’s a dream. You’re stuck in an elevator and two neighbors are flicking buttons —frantic— and I’m also there trying to figure out how this is all going down, but also inside us all audibly and how it’ll echo and haunt our minds throughout eternity. Does this fate happen within every lifetime, and only some lifetimes have a tendency to get hooked on the fence for five hours left to dry. And sunlight.

Dane Law’s newest tape on Genot Centre entitled r.bit comes at listeners like an urgent situation that can only remain in-place. Like a chase through one’s mind at light-speed while holding any sorta yoga pose for the fourth hour. Oh, and scope the accompanying game:

Chocolate Grinder

CHOCOLATE GRINDER is our audio/visual section, with an emphasis on the lesser heard and lesser known. We aim to dig deep, but we’ll post any song or video we find interesting, big or small.
