This write-up would be easier and admittedly a lot more fun if I could some how relate Katie Got Bandz’s alter-ego Drillary Clinton to Hillary Clinton’s victory, but unfortunately, I can’t. In some parallel universe, I’m writing this after Hillary Clinton’s win. In some parallel universe, Donald Trump isn’t our President-elect, and our future and our children’s future isn’t seriously jeopardized. I’m trying to come up with something witty to say about it, but I just can’t. Nothing feels funny, everything feels dismal and honestly I feel like shit and I share the embarrassment thousands feel for our country right now.
In any case, I’m trying to get my mind off things by watching Katie Got Bandz’s new video for “Pull Up.” Perhaps you can find some brief respite by doing the same.
