As we hipped you to recently, David Pajo has announced a new album under the revived Papa M moniker, following a pretty grim period that involved suicide attempts and motor bike accidents. The album, Highway Songs, is out November 11 via Drag City.
To get you in the mood for jubilation, Papa M has released a video for “Bloom” from Highway Songs, which you can fix your peepers on above.
From Drag City: “[The] buds are blooming out there, and as 16mm black and white flashes into colour, the reasons for being and living and loving burst through the haze. ‘Bloom’ brings the changing colours of Papa M into the present day.”
