Anyway! So yeah: according to the *EXCELLENT* PR people working for Epic Records, Atlanta’s own “multiplatinum-certified rapper, artist, and visionary” 21 Savage is returning TOMORROW, DECEMBER 21 with “one of the most anticipated hip-hop albums of 2018” — a.k.a. his second full-length, entitled I Am > I Was.
The press release then literally says: “Without notice, he surprised the entire industry and the culture at large by personally breaking the news on social media.” Because no one’s ever done that before.
A little while later, it says something to the effect that, in order to “commemorate the album,” he’s…selling a bunch of merch?
Either way, if you dug his pretty badass first one, just know that the follow-up comes out tomorrow. You can get it — along with all the branded sweatpants, keychains, basketballs, ashtrays, and skateboards you didn’t know you wanted until now — at his website.
