Aphex Twin announces AFX EP orphaned deejay selek 2006-2008 via Warp

Unhand that sacrificial goat! Stop rubbing your grimy hands all over that stupid lamp! Take a break from trying to bait a leprechaun into your weird basement! Because all your dreams have already come true: there’s a new release from Aphex Twin (or AFX, on this one) on the way. Titled Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008), Richard D. James’s latest EP will drop August 21 via the good people at Warp Records. It’s James’s first release as AFX since 2005.

And what do you know, all involved have kindly gifted us with a clip of the track “serge fenix Rendered 2,” complete with strobey yet minimalist visuals and glorious jumpy techno beats.

Cop this thing for yourself on 12-inch, CD (as the press release says, “both in die-cut and spot glossed sleeves”), digital, and streaming.
