Barcelona's Bad Gyal shares track from upcoming mixtape with Jam City, Dubbel Dutch, and more

Bad Gyal, Barcelona’s #rising TriLingualWebSensationTM, has just announced a mixtape to start the year. Following the one-two punch of 2017 singles “Jacaranda” and “Nicest Cocky,” the new tape sees the 20-year-old femme provocateur flexing her dancehall-inflected reggaetón club aesthetic and fiery trilingual vocals (Spanish, Catalan, English) alongside the likes of Jam City, Dubbel Dutch, Fake Guido, D33J, Paul Marmota, and more.

The currently untitled mixtape is out February 23. Stream its first single, “BLINK” (produced by Colombia-born Mixpak signee DJ Florentino), below, and look out for a video for the track by Alexis Gomez on February 7.

Meanwhile, Bad Gyal has announced US tour dates for March (including shows at SXSW) before heading to Reykjavik’s Sónar Festival. She’s also currently working with Red Bull Spain in Jamaica on a soon-to-be-announced project. OK, bye!
