G’day, mate. Word has already been spreading like wild bamboo that Melbourne psych titans Beaches are on the verge of dropping a new album — their third, following the excellent She Beats from 2013. What’s more, it seems the new record, Second of Spring, is two LPs full of the Australian quintet’s trademark blissed riffage; that’s four heavy sides of vinyl to induce an out of body experience with!

Second of Springdoesn’t actually arrive until right near the tail end of (western hemisphere) summer — September 8, via Chapter Music — but good news: you can pre-order the thing right here any old time you like.

And today, we have even more good news from the land of down-under: Beaches are unveiling Spring’s second single, the very rad “Arrow” — and they even have a comparably rad video to go with it. Directed by band member/artist Antonia Sellbach, it’s a swirl of third-eye unlocking animation that will carry you right up to a plane of higher elevation. We’re very pleased to be premiering both the video and the track for you. Right here. Right now. Light the Nag Champa & turn it up.
