Surely, I don’t need to tell you by now that Big Boi’s solo record Sir Lucious Left Foot the Son of Chico Dusty (TMT Review) is something real special. Does anybody not like that record? Probably, but I have yet to meet them. Anyway, when you release a record that good, you deserve to hit up some big venues on a, well, fairly big tour. Of course, Big Boi would probably be able to play these venues regardless, solo record or not. The man was in a little group called Outkast, who happened to put out some really popular songs. But since the man is touring the US on basically a victory lap for his new record, we’re left with the possibility of hearing “Shutterbug” and “General Patton” and “Rosa Parks” and “Ms. Jackson” all in one set. A more glorious possibility, I may never see.
