In support of the upcoming 22, A Million (out September 30 via Jagjaguwar) notable former “sad-guy-in-a-cabin” Justin Vernon is taking Bon Iver to Europe for a series of early 2017 dates. The tour, which is in addition to the handful of shows the band has planned for next month, will find Bon Iver unleashing their falsetto powers (not to mention new songs that have weird titles) throughout the European continent. Paris will be their first destination on January 22, with stops in Stockholm, Copenhagen, London, and many more planned through mid-February.
Unfortunately, the tour does not appear to have an odd name to match the likes of such 22, A Million tracks like “22 (OVER S∞∞N)” or “10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⚄ ⚄” Personally, I would have called it something like “€ 20TøøøøøøøøüR17,” but then again, I am not a part of Bon Iver. YET. Justin Vernon: You are free to use the above name for your tour. All I ask in return, is that you allow me to join your band as a woodblock player for some of the January dates. Thanks!
