Back in February, Car Seat Headrest released Twin Fantasy, a high-definition remaster, shot-for-shot remake, Office Space: Special Edition — With Flair! of their 2011 album of the same name.

Wow… sorry for making Twin Fantasy sound a bit lame. It’s actually quite good. No, seriously. Even we liked it, and we hate guitars!

Apologies, I’m getting away from the point promised up in that big headline text up there. Point IS: Twin Fantasy has been released, and now, Car Seat Headrest will be taking the album to a European or North American music venue near you, as part of an extensive set of tour dates.

Is Twin Fantasy actually an ambitious realization of its already ambitious predecessor? Can one, as they say, truly go home again? Did God answer Will Toledo’s prayers and give him Frank Ocean’s voice and James Brown’s stage presence, as laid out on the song “Cute Thing?” The only way to find out is to see Car Seat Headrest live — now as a seven-piece that features members of Naked Giants — at one of the many dates listed down below. Twin Fantasy is out now via Matador.
