Boston rapper Cousin Stizz, like so many of us on this wet-and-hard space boulder we like to call “Earth,” is always chasing life’s excitement. But when is it time to settle down, chill out, and, oh, I don’t know, listen to what the world is trying to tell you folks?! Take right now, for instance, when I’m (very patiently [and handsomely]) trying to tell you about the new Cousin Stizz album called Trying to Find My Next Thrill, out August 14 on RCA Records. Would you have heard about this if you were out joyriding on roller coasters or scuba diving with bottlenose dolphins in Cozumel?! Probably! But there’s no going back now!

A follow-up to 2017’s One Night Only mixtape, Trying to Find My Next Thrill includes the previously released single “Perfect” along with features from Freddie Gibbs, Smino, $ean Wire, and Leven Kali. To celebrate the announcement, Stizz has also shared a new video for album track “STP” directed by James “JMP” Pereira, allowing you to finally enter into the high-powered hip-hop world of fashion shows, impractical cars, and paper currencies. Watch it below.

And hey, while you’re down there, check out the album art and tracklisting, and go ahead and grab Trying to Find My Next Thrill wherever albums are sold or streamed on August 14. As for me? Well, I’ll be here, basking in the infinite thrills of low-rent music journalism. As always.
