Cypress Hill reissue debut album in a replica of the group's skull logo

Since the day my mom came home from Lollapalooza in 1993 wearing a Cypress Hill marijuana leaf hat, I knew I was destined to write this article. I have fond memories of my dad accidentally getting Cypress Hill’s 1991 self-titled album from Columbia House, causing him to scream, “What the fuck is this shit?”

“Fuck” it was, but “shit” it was not.

25 years later, the album is being reissued August 13 on vinyl as a black resin replica of the group’s skull logo via Get On Down. Underneath the skull? A remastered version of the album on CD. B-Real, you got us again! The LP comes with a book of interviews about making the album and most likely some dope-ass photos.
