Over the weekend, Drake dropped two new songs via… Instagram! They’re called “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity,” and they come listed on streaming services as part of something called Spooky Hours, for which no other tracks are currently listed. Are more songs on the way? Has Drake evolved beyond this newfangled “playlist” format he “pioneered” with last year’s More Life into the even more disruptive format of, um, basically just A/B singles with their own titles and no advance information? Is this actually an EP as people are calling it? Or is this just off-season Drake being off-season Drake, and releasing random quality tracks without a specific project, as he’s done in the past??
Only time will tell. One thing’s for sure: all my hours from here on out are gonna be scary till I know some more information about this mysterious new Drake project!!
