In a move that can only add to the mystery and allure of Earl Sweatshirt while simultaneously bumming out Mr. Sweatshirt himself, the Odd Future rapper has canceled his entire European tour. Is it because his music is too raw? Too controversial? His mom got mad again and sent him to reform school in Samoa or whatever the rumor was? Nah, dude has pneumonia and is super sick. BUMMER. Poor Earl has been feeling sickly since Bonnaroo, when his performance there was also canceled due to illness.
Earl Sweatshirt expressed his regret at missing out on partying in Paris and smearing mud all over himself at Glastonbury via Twitter. “IM STILL SICK AND THIS SUCKS ASS THAT I CANT MAKE IT TO THESE JULY SHOWS I AM REALLY FUCKING SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT,” he said, accentuating exactly how much the whole thing “sucks ass” by using ALL CAPS. Earl Sweatshirt’s tour will resume on July 21 in Buffalo, where hopefully he can like, go to a beer garden or a French restaurant or something to make it seem like, you know, he had a little slice of European tour in his life. Odd Future and Tyler the Creator will still perform all scheduled European dates. Get well soon, Earl.
