Huxley announces debut LP and EP for Aus, inadvertently gets a Korean fanbase

UK house producer Huxley a.k.a. Michael Dodman has released a string of EPs and 12-inch singles since 2009, but until now we haven’t seen a full-length from the grime-influenced artist. Handling the proceedings is Will Saul’s Aus Music label, who will put out Huxley’s The Machine EP on July 14, followed by his debut LP Blurred in October. Featuring collaborations with S-Man and Jack Wilby, The Machine sees Dodman tackle big festival anthems as well as more nuanced, slow-burning cuts.

With that said, approximately six Koreans a day confuse Huxley the DJ for this Huxley — a Korean-made, massively multiplayer game developed by Webzen that was ultimately never released. Originally set to drop in late 2010, the game known as 헉슬리 was mysteriously shelved after an open beta test, never to be heard about again. Perhaps Huxley’s debut album will actually be a video game in disguise? For those pubescent Korean boys living out their days in PC rooms all across the hermit kingdom, it remains merely a dream. Make it happen, Huxley — 화이팅!!!!

The Machine tracklist:

01. Callin (feat. S-Man)
02. Machina (feat. Jack Wilby)
03. Tendered Mess
04. Oil Spill
