Hell, my mom even loves iLoveMakonnen (or, at least she said “It’s certainly interesting” after my siblings and I conspired to play the iLoveMakonnen EP during some of our family Christmas/pagan solstice festivities this year because we all agreed that deciding to stop selling molly is a great thing to celebrate in conjunction with the birth of our Lord/atheistic movement of our beautiful sun). But, reader, since we don’t even know each other, in large part because I’m not even convinced you’re actually real, I don’t know where you stand on iLoveMakonnen. Do you love him? Well, perhaps a good way to demonstrate that love (while simultaneously demonstrating that you’re not just a computer program on the internet) is to hit him up on the recently announced Loudest of the Loud tour. And, if you’re reading this before 2 PM EST on February 26, it may not yet be too late for you, because until that time there is a fan pre-sale for tickets going on over on Makonnen’s website. The public sale starts at noon on Friday, February 27. Do the right thing, reader, whatever that is. Actually, in this case the right thing may be starting a Whitehouse.gov petition to prevent Drake from going back and remixing every single one of iLoveMakonnen’s tracks. We may never know for sure, though.
