inc. no world announce new Living EP, share new single, surprisingly don't change band name
inc. no world demonstrate the safest way of "gettin' down."

inc. no world (fka inc., and before that, Teen Inc.) make the kind of understated indie-white-boy R&B that has meant big name-recognition for several indie-white-boy R&B artists in the last half-decade. The thing is, the brothers L.A. brothers Andrew and Daniel Aged have been doing it for longer. And arguably, they’ve been doing it better too; it’s just that they just might be doing themselves any household-name-recognition favors with all those restless name changes (but then again, that didn’t seem to hurt Prince too much in the long run).

This time around, though, the Ageds aren’t tinkering with their moniker; they’re…just “Living.” No, really: their new EP is called Living, and it’s out August 18 via their own No World Recordings and Quality Time Recordings. Its five component tracks sounds a lot like what they’ve been churning out for the last few years: supremely functional and exquisitely detailed late-night jams for all you Livers and Lovers out there; closer to D’Angelo’s Black Messiah in timbre than to the stylized crunch of the duo’s earliest material. Pre-order it here, and check out the EP’s silky-smooth title track down below.
