Sick of watching music videos online or on TV? Neither am I, but Kanye West is here to disrupt things anyway by announcing an event at The Forum in Los Angeles to premiere his new, official video for “Famous” — which is kinda brilliant because now he can sell you tickets. Kanye “Breaker of Chains” West will be there and will probably do something weird/outrageous/offensive/etc., but he won’t be doing a performance. But this is all part of his performance, isn’t it?
The event takes place Friday (10 PM EST). Tickets go on sale tomorrow, but you can also sit home and watch the whole event streaming via TIDAL (even for non-subscribers/people who hate TIDAL). The video will then be available exclusively via TIDAL for a week.
Here’s hoping they just premiere the Eric Wareheim & Aziz Ansari version.
