1:53 AM: Undercover journalist Kim Kardashian reveals that Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Friday series, the one that led up to the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is starting up again. As she put it via Twitter, “Friiiiiiday!!!! New music!!!! #EveryFriday #Swish #RealFriends.”

Friday morning/mid-morning: buncha stories in the US are published about it.

1:00 PM: Kanye uploads “Real Friends” to SoundCloud, with a snippet of “No More Parties In LA,” the former of which features Ty Dolla $ign and the latter Kendrick Lamar. “Real Friends” is produced by Kanye, with help from Frank Dukes, Havoc, and Boi-1da (<3); “No More Parties in LA” is produced by Madlib.

1:01 - 1:14 PM: buncha stories are published about it.

1:15 PM: Kanye takes the stream down.

1:16 - 1:46 PM: buncha stories are still published about it, replacing the original stream with ripped versions.

1:47 PM: Kanye explains that he took it down because “there was a slight distortion in the main loop within Real Friends.” He adds, “It will be back up shortly.”

1:48 - 2:20 PM: buncha stories are published about the update.

2:18 PM: Kanye re-uploads the track to SoundCloud.
