Khaki Blazer releases limited-edition Gelatinous Ground tape on Unifactor

Furthering his image rehabilitation of the khaki blazer, Mothcock’s Patrick Modugno has a new tape out now under his Khaki Blazer moniker. The tape is called Gelatinous Ground, and it’s available in a limited edition of 100 via Unifactor.

A mashing of frantic drum machines, video game synthesizer haze, and the dings you hear on The Price is Right when a contestant makes a bid, Gelatinous Ground feels gooey and free-flowing, as any good gelatin should. Also, the tape is yellow, so big day for anyone out there who collects cassettes, enjoys music that sounds like the previous sentence, and considers yellow to be their favorite color.

You can listen to Side A of Gelatinous Ground below, and be one of the lucky 100 to own it by heading over to Unifactor’s Bandcamp and shelling out the requisite six dollars.
