Kinski to embark on October tour

Space rock tends to be a slow, drifting, languorous thing. Weird thing about that: a lot of shit in space goes really fast. Asteroids, like, live in space, and they go thousands of miles per hour. So why so slow, space rock? Seattle’s Kinski wonder the same. Or, in recent years, they’ve been wondering it. Starting life as a your typical tortoise-speed space rock band, the group’s been dialing up the acceleration in recent years.

In support of this year’s 7 (Or 8), their latest album on Kill Rock Stars, Kinksi are hopping on The Kinski Jetski Jet for a quick October tour. Whuzzat now? Yes, Kinski have a jet that is also a jetski. And it belongs to them, Kinski. They’ll be dropping down into the rivers, lakes, or other accompanying bodies of waters for a number of cities located on the East Coast or in the Midwest. And then, before you even know it, they’ll be gone. Vroooom.
