Lone announces new 12-inch Ambivert Tools Volume Three on R&S, wins techno's International Consistency Award

Like clockwork, every few months, London techno-bot Lone (a.k.a. Matt Cutler) releases some very…”Lone-esque” material.

What can he tell you? The man likes the sounds he likes. And he sticks to them. And while there is some variation in beat style from release to release, a Lone track is always, above all, best described as “a soaringly melodic Lone track.”

Unsurprisingly, Ambivert Tools Vol. 3 sounds a lot like the first two volumes, though its lead track and standout “Temples” is perhaps a bit flutier, junglier, more comedown than comeup. This is supposedly the last installment in a lil’ trilogy, anyhow; so the fact that this is music for the post-peak makes some sense.

Anyway, like I said: it’s Lone. So, you already know if you like him, and you already know if you don’t. The dude is consistent, at least. Stream “Temples” for yourself down below, and head to Bandcamp to pre-order it today. (If you dig Lone, that is.)
