Mummy Dust Trippers (Corum & Winslow) announce two new LPs, Perfect Prey and Song of the Cactus House, share new tracks from each

“Inhale with extreme caution.” So goes the apt descriptor for a tripped out bazaar of sounds from shamanic musical journeymen “Wildman” Winslow and Grant Corum. Some may recognize the latter for his work as The Orchardist or under his own name.

Together, Winslow & Corum are unveiling a kaleidoscopic sonic travelogue in the form of two separate albums: Perfect Prey and Song of the Cactus House. The former is composed of “six new critical-paranoiac methods,” while the latter is “an outfolding protoplasmic psychoactive chamber open to travelers and the curious alike.” If your mind-mouth is watering just reading the record descriptions, just wait until you open it up wide and imbibe the intoxicating sounds from an unknown, and perhaps unreal, foreign zone. These are immersive soundscapes that will transport you from the cold comforts of your screens into a location yet to be determined. Might as well dive in and find out, am I right?

Perfect Prey (via Psychic Sounds) and Song of the Cactus House (via Lost Discoveries) BOTH drop simultaneously on November 11 and can be pre-ordered right here right now. Based on their first tastes, we’re in for a truly aurally-transformative adventure. See you there.
