The New Year make a resolution to release Snow, their first new album in 9 years
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Whoa, the snowy-white NEWNESS of it all! Those old Kadane brothers are newly back after a nine-year absence, and they’re bringing a new-tacular new album with them. The New Year’s new album is called Snow, and it comes out in all its snow-white newness April 28 on Undertow Music.

Accordingly, the new New Year album’s first new single “Recent History” — a hard-driving, “is this indie rock or post-rock?”-style jam with pounding drums and fuzzy, interlocking guitars — has been recently (i.e., newly) released. You can listen to it below; and then, if you want to, refresh it and listen to it…anew.

Check out the brand new album trailer and newly completed album’s full tracklist down there while you’re at it, too; and pre-order the album here. Or, if you’re just SO FLUSH with cash (but weirdly low on clothes) and want to get a $62 version of the same album that also comes with a new shirt — plus a bunch of other new goodies — you can do that instead.
