NNA Tapes to celebrate 10 years of being NNAkedly awesome, plans two-night showcase for Brooklyn's Northside Festival in June

NNA Tapes — the label run by Toby Aronson and Matt Mayer from their headquarters in Burlington, VT — has sponsored various TMT-centric releases going all the way back to 2008; and all the while, they’ve done so with a certain sense of humble class that should be the endeavor of every entrepreneur looking to get into the independent label “business.” (Those aspiring entrepreneurs should establish a creative visual signature that appeals to listeners and artists alike…in fact, those aspiring entrepreneurs SHOULD quit using the word “entrepreneur” all together, before their friends/loved ones start confusing the term with “asshole” and/or “chronically unemployed.”)

And so, NNA is justifiably celebrating their 10-year anniversary with a two-night showcase as part of Brooklyn’s Northside Festival, the musical portion of which takes place June 7-10. The NNA showcase nights are on June 7 and June 8 respectively; and naturally, both dates are set to feature artists who’ve previously contributed to the label’s success by using it as a vessel for atypical sounds.

The whole lineup includes Kalbells, Tredici Bacci, Erica Eso, Ryan Power, Lea Bertucci, Marilu Donovan (Eartheater), Jake Meginsky, and Qasim Naqvi (Dawn of MIDI).
