Noise luminaries Borbetomagus announce rare new album, The Eastcote Studios Session

Noise/avant-garde/free-jazz legends Borbetomagus have announced a new album, The Eastcote Studios Session, on Dancing Wayang Records. The record comes out November 25, and it will be pressed in an edition of just 500 LPs.

The trio of saxophonists Jim Sauter and Don Dietrich and guitarist Donald Miller have been erecting a dense, disruptive architecture of noise for nearly 40 years. Their latest, which was recorded in London in the eponymous studio, is being described in press materials as “a new kind of peak” for the long-active group.

The Eastcote Studios Session is available now for pre-order at Dancing Wayang’s store. Vinyl copies come with a digital download of the record. Also available for purchase is a limited-run poster of the album’s cover art by British artist Richard Wilson.
