Pere Ubu's Coed Jail tour sets final tour dates for 2016

Have you been spending your summer lost in a lethargic haze of regret because Pere Ubu’s Coed Jail! Tour hasn’t made any stops near you? Are you wasting away, writing Romantic poetry about lost opportunities and lost (musical) loves? Well, no more! For Pere Ubu has announced the final leg of their 2016 tour, and they’re heading up the West Coast.

What is the Coed Jail! Tour, you say? Wipe your tears away, my gentle friend, for your moping has obscured news we’ve already talked about. This tour features the band doing songs from their recent box set releases Architecture Of Language 1979-1982 and Elitism For The People 1975-1978, both out via Fire Records. The show has already made its way across Europe and the East Coast and now David Thomas, drummer Steven Mehlman, bassist Michele Temple, synth/theremin dude Robert Wheeler, and guitarist Gary Siperko are venturing into The Golden West. Behold!
