Legendary German free jazz saxophonist Peter Brötzmann is ready to unveil his latest album, I Surrender Dear. While many (including this writer) expect another aural skronky sax assault, the Austrian label Trost begs to differ. The new release is described as Brötzmann “playing some of his favourite jazz tunes and own compositions, a grand bridge over the music of his life, a longtime desire.”

I Surrender Dear is out November 22. Head here to check out more album info and LP/Digital pre-order information.
