Pinkshinyultrablast announcenewalbum MiserableMiracles...andhowfunisthis?!?

WhatifthisentirePinkshinyultrablastarticlewaswrittenlikethis?

Just kidding, that would be kinda annoying. Plus, it would totally distract from the news that Pinkshinyultrablast have a new album called Miserable Miracles coming out, like, a month from now!

Miserable Miracles is the third album from Russia’s finest shoegazers (Rugazers?) and follows up 2016’s four-point-five-miniature-red-circles-out-of-five effort, Grandfeathered.

With vocalist Lyubov having moved to L.A. in the interim, the band began experimenting with different ways of composing and collaborating on their music. As can be gleaned from new single “In The Hanging Gardens,” the result is a sound heavily-based in electronics, reminiscent even of the pop-stylings of Chiemi Manabe or Yellow Magic Orchestra.

Don’t take that sentence’s words for it though. Listen (and see!) for yourself by watching the video for “In The Hanging Gardens” down below. Pinkshinyultrablast is also embarking on a UK tour this spring that coincides with the 10-year anniversary of their very first show. You can check out all of those dates — along with the requisite album art and full tracklist — down below as well.

Miserable Miracles is out May 4, and be pre-ordered via Club AC30 in the UK here, or via Shelflife in the US here.
