Quantum Natives to make US premiere at ISSUE Project Room with Brood Ma, Yearning Kru, and Rosen
What you're looking at...is your own indelible, modular FUTURE.

Listen up, lovers of oppressive, hi-def, entropic systems and technospiritual, auto-generative aesthetics: on April 15, TMT favorite Quantum Natives will make their US debut at Brooklyn’s ISSUE Project Room with a performance and exhibition called Grace Nexus. In line with their efforts to create immersive sensorial experiences, the collective will “use video game engine technology, paired with software-based sound design, to sculpt birds-eye and panoramic experiences of merging fictional landscapes, physical, and online spaces, which in turn will be projected in ISSUE’s theater and online.”

The performance will feature Quantum Natives co-runners Brood Ma and Yearning Kru, as well as Rachael Melanson as Rosen. The event is curated by writer/media theorist/TMT contributor DeForrest Brown Jr., his first project as 2017 Suzanne Fiol Curatorial Fellow.

Find tickets and more information about Grace Nexus here, and watch the hallucinatory 360º VR trailer for it below, which features a scaled 3D rendering of ISSUE’s theater space.
