Let’s address this. For their existence, We Were Promised Jetpack have been very bitter about a certain thing. An expectation never fulfilled. We will not name what this is, this promise that’s been haunting them, because we shall not dwell on this slow, simmering anger, for fear of just making it all the worse.
We Were Promised Jetpacks are coming to the US this summer! The Scottish indie rock outfit will be landing on these gentle shores for a quick string of dates. These dates include stops at Chicago’s Wicker Park Fest and the Pier84/RiverRocks concert series in New York!
They are so furious. It’s inside them and it’s been inside them for year. Someone could stop this; it would just take one small… gift to relieve their pain.
Last year, We Were Promised Jetpacks put out their third album Unravelling through Fat Cat! Good for them for putting out a record and not being destroyed by an unending longing!
I mean… why would you promise something if you weren’t going to deliver that… something?
