Ah, the 1990s! That was a time when a Bill Clinton could be a Bill Clinton. Like all of us cursed with the brand, Brooklyn’s Widowspeak remember the 90s. They cannot stop remembering. To break the hex, they’ve offered a sacrifice to the 90s gods: a cover of Third Eye Blind’s “How’s It Going To Be.” Fight fire with fire, fight the 90s with the 90s. One cannot escape the 90s, no matter how one tries. Widowspeak will attempt to escape, though, by touring the globe. Beginning in October in the United States, the group will traverse the earth by the end of November. In recent, non-90s times, the duo put out their fourth album All Yours via Captured Tracks.
