There’s a library of entertainment, a stereo and two separate Walkmans, plenty of paper and pen, fishing poles, sunscreen, shit even a fire pit (safely) — like, you’ll be GOOD for a long while, so let the lax begin, right? While looking through the cassette collection, the cover of Angel1’s Fy stands out in a row of shells, so you take it out and pop it on in the player, and BLAST IT. Making friends with nature has never been easier since most of the world collapsed, as crustaceans and schools of fish and oceanic mammals all gather around the sides of your boat and enjoy the vibration of sound. Like transmission from one naturally grown mind to the next, Angel1 communicates to listeners on a pedestal of peace, swarmed by a plethora of sonic pleasures to pick from. Thus, you lax in the company of harmonious being at one with the world.
Akin to Lillerne Tapes’ release Spa World, Fy by Angel1 comes at listeners as almost Dolphin Tears’ follow-up, but more on an individual experience than a shared spa existence. And I ain’t complaining. Shit, I serio can’t explain this enough, but Angel1 is next level. Any expectations you’ve had about synth’d out, max’d lax, pure’d moods tunes will be drenched in a new form of serenity.
