Providence, RI continues to produce/foster/incubate/house a very well-populated underground, and the latest to warp their way into my ear is the strangely funky Bridget Feral. “Ultimate Wife” screeches out something close to some industrial kind of dub and consider me dancing while alone in bed sitting on my pillows with this on repeat.
This song can be found on Berlin label Untergang-Institut’s recent tape Secret Map v.I, which also includes tracks from James K, Saintary (T)issues, Container, and many more “artists across the world who are crucial to its existence.” Can’t stop won’t stop.
