When it rains, it pours over at 100% Silk HQ. The Browns have been quiet since the final releases of 2k15, but they’re returned with three cuts of crisp, USDA choice house magic. Chicago’s Potions is a part of this new batch, with Pushing the Cuboid, his second cassette for the label. That first tape, Phased, was one that took me a while to come around to, but this tune, “Detroit Heart Strings,” has me hooked. Pulsing sci-fi vibes and a little bit of acid house makes this a very choice jam for strutting around the club.
