♫♪  Sean Pierce - “Fama Snare”

The insistent rhythms, deep bass kicks, and acid-tinged techno of Portland producer Sean Pierce is surely familiar to the dedicated followers of deviant Northwest electronics label MOTOR, and perhaps (?) also to our faithful readers. If a sense of deja vu comes on when I start talking about Pierce’s new cassette, Transit, it’s because this new tape is a physical release of last year’s digital-only EP with two additional tracks.

One of those new tracks, “Fama Snare,” is dropping right here, right now. With a majority of the track comprised of rapid fire percussion and steady bass pulses, “Fama Snare” sizzles on headphones, and likely will fire up the dancefloor when Pierce takes the stage Thursday, March 10, one day ahead of Transit’s release.

Cop the digital and physical copies here.
