Sci-fi R&B. And when I say sci-fi R&B, I ain’t talking about aliens and shit. I mean, maybe, but Tigerbitch’s new Trash Advocate is way more 1990s-style sci-fi. Like, less time travel or fantasy-fi. Less about aliens and more about dimensions. Raw dimensional wobbles waving away like a distant peace sign blurred on a Trapper Keeper. Ahh, that must be it. Trapper Keeper R&B. And there’s some style change, yo. Like, it ain’t all about smooth R&B vibes. It never is (see: any R&B/rap track from whenever). It’s smooth moves in the tropical-fi sense.
Tell you “What,” Trash Advocate is all over the place “& Roll,” but in a very tight setting. It doesn’t go overboard. There’re plenty of jams to smile about. You may see a robotic parrot. I don’t know. Oops, I do know, but the more I write about it, the more time you’ll spend reading, so stop and start listening. It’s also good traveling music. C Monster, STOP!
To follow up his last big release on Brunch Groupe, here is Tigerbitch’s Trash Advocate in full force. Dig it, sign it, press it, and give Tigerbitch your undying attention for a short part of your day. YAY!!
