Did you guys know that TMT has its own beach house?
Yeah, it’s friggin’ lux too, bro: surfing, tubing, beach yoga, pigs stuffed with steaks roasting in the sand, drinks with umbrellas. We got it ALL goin’ on.
Although… wait, maybe now that I think about it, I might be hallucinating; and it might actually just be a janitor closet in the back of our offices where some of us staffers go to get abrasively high on industrial-strength, “ocean scent” cleaning products and listen to Beach House records on Friday mornings.
Yeesh. Either way! Time to get out more, probably. Maybe I’ll go see the dream pop duo Beach House — who, you may recall, released both their Thank Your Lucky Stars AND Depression Cherry albums back in 2015 and are reportedly “currently at work on a rarities and B-sides compilation” to be released later this year — at one of their upcoming “international headlining and festival tour dates which span March 29 through August 18.” The tour will include stops in Wilmington, Lancaster, Charlotte, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Athens, Knoxville, and New York in the Eastern US, as well as some of those more… um, “Europe-y?” places like Copenhagen and Portugal. (DAMN, I’m so good at writing still; Brain cells, shmain cells!)
