Officially one of America’s (and probably the world’s) most confusing band, Death Grips continue to drop random nuggets of noise all over the place, with little to no credence to how “the industry” does things (see for instance breaking up but not actually breaking up and giving away an album they were contracted to release with a major label).
Now, Death Grips will be participating in Record Store Day’s Black Friday on November 25 with the release of a double album compiling two entirely instrumental albums: Fashion Week and Interview 2016, both of which were released Death Grips-style in the leadup to Jenny Death and Bottomless Pit, respectively.
There are only 3,000 copies being released, so be on the lookout.
