Today in tour cancellation news, synth-strapped Montrealian (Montrealite?) water pixie Grimes has sadly canceled her entire European tour. Several weeks ago, the otherwordly Ms. Claire Boucher was forced to cancel her remaining Canadian dates due to health concerns about serious hearing issues. She explained the decision via Twitter, (the social networking site of record, a sort of NY Times for photos of cats eating hamburgers, if you will), “it’s depressing to cancel more shows, but we have to cancel all Grimes dates in Europe due to health issues :(.”
But there may still be a chance, dear European Grimes fans, that that little sad face emoticon’s frown will be turned upside down. Ms. Boucher added, “I will be updating shortly about which shows will be rescheduled.” So far, Grimes’ Twitter feed has remained silent about this subject, although her views on Taylor Swift have been expressed. (Spoiler alert: she’s pro-Swift.)
