JPEGMAFIA is savvy enough to know that it’s a sucker’s game to sit around trying to re-wite history. So instead, he’s taking the eminently more logical tack of REVERSING THAT SHIT.

The Baltimore-based experimental rapper and producer has just announced “The Reverse Christopher Columbus Tour” in support of his most recent album Veteran. All in all, this destiny-UNmanifesting, 22-date extravaganza will take the acclaimed beatmaker from Vancouver, BC on August 29, through the upper and lower United States, and alllll the way back to Brussells, Belgium on November 11.

And to commemorate the auspicious occasion, he’s also shared the brand new track left over from the Veteran sessions called “Millennium,” which the press release describes as a “half remix/half cover inspired by the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 classic ‘I Want It That Way’ but touched by JPEG’s signature eclectic production and flowing lyricism.”

Since you’re obviously chomping at the bit to hear to what that sounds like, I’ll just kindly step out of your way at this point and let you click “play” on the Soundcloud stream down below. (Full tour dates are listed below the track, and Veteran is available here.)
