La Sera and Ryan Adams team up to create Music for Listening to Music To

The now husband-and-wife duo La Sera will be releasing its fourth album Music for Listening to Music To in March 2016. As if that news weren’t great enough, Rolling Stone has a pretty in-depth article about the genesis of the album, which was produced by Ryan Adams in his Pax Am Studios.

Apparently, the sessions at Pax Am earlier this year sparked the mother of all bromances between La Sera guitarist Todd Wisenbaker and Adams, which led to the pair playing together on the much-talked-about 1989 cover album and, according to the Rolling Stone article, a whole lot more coming down the line. If history is any guide, that’s probably true if Ryan Adams is involved.

The details of Music for Listening to Music To are scant, but you can check out the cheeky little preview below, which confirms La Sera’s move away from garage and into the perfect The Smiths/alt-country intersection at which Ryan Adams hangs out.
