Oneohtrix Point Never announces tour, requests fan submissions sourced from MIDI files

Didn’t we make things clear enough less than 48 hours ago? It’s a MIDI bonanza! And the only solution to this notational craze is to use the MIDI files that Oneohtrix Point Never (or his alien companion Ezra, if we’re amicable players) made downloadable here as the bases for creating your own tracks, which a press rep kindly requests that you send over to the following email for eventual archival release: ezralien666@gmail.com. All of those MIDI snippets do supposedly stem from OPN’s upcoming album, after all, but we can probably equate Lopatin’s admission of it being his most “physical” record to something superlative in our own minds. So good luck out there, music-makers.

Additional G.O.D. news comes with supportive international tour dates being announced for this November and extending into December. OPN will be joined by friend and prior visual collaborator Nate Boyce on guitar, while Lopatin himself will be bordered by floodlights and brought in via harness through the rafters as a theatrical supplement to the Zeus-like qualities of his vocals. You can count on the vocals, at least.
