Steve Gunn is going solo for a victory lap/tour

Steve Gunn, everyone’s favorite guitarist with the surname Gunn, has had a pretty hectic year since announcing his signing with Matador and embarking on a world tour. While most regular folk would reward themselves for a job well done by going into hibernation and watching tons of YouTube clips until Kwanzaa, Gunn is no ordinary person.

Instead, he’s decided to put on a solo tour through October and November with his likeminded buddies James Elkington and Nathan Salsburg. Then, maybe, it’s couch and YouTube time, though it’s hard to imagine Gunn actually having a fixed abode with said couch on which to crash right now.

The extra-exciting news is that Gunn will be trying out some new tunes from his forthcoming record, though no date or details are set, which is why you ought to get along and hear these tunes for yourself.
