Ty Segall, town troubadour of the world-at-large, loves to keep busy. Every year, he’s releasing a new album; and every year, he’s constantly touring. 2018 has been no exception, as Ty Segall both released a new album, and has been constantly touring. Now that’s an artistic output you can set your watch to!
But seriously folks, things never stop for Ty Segall, who has now announced that he will be taking a break from touring to go on tour. Yes, following the conclusion of his upcoming slate of dates with The Freedom Band, along with a pit stop to get his oil changed and tires rotated, Segall will be heading out in the fall for a run of solo acoustic dates. Support will come from William Tyler and Emmett Kelly.
If that’s not enough to get you excited, a press release promises that Segall will be “…doing all sorts of songs he doesn’t usually play.” Still not convinced? What if I told you the release adds “it’s gonna be great”!? Whoa, sounds like it’s gonna be great!
