Guided-mediation time, TMT readers!

Okay: close your eyes for a sec and think about a time when you were really happy — it shouldn’t make you uneasy, and you don’t have to share anything with anyone. It might have been a moment alone or a simple gathering with friends. It might be coming to the joyful realization that you never have to see a certain angry, vindictive, self-obsessed coward ever again (uh, sorry…no more personal digressions, I assure you). If you are holding this happy memory, the peaceful half-smile of the Buddha should now be forming on your lips.

If you can’t find your half-smile, that’s okay too. I have a smile-starter for you: On March 23, Wet Tuna — a duo comprised of long-time pals Matt [MV] Valentine and Pat [P.G. Six] Gubler — will be releasing their album Livin’ the Die on the lovable label best-known as a warm retreat for psych/folk/drone/blender heads:
Feeding Tube Records!

If you love heartfelt jams that run roughshod down happy memory lanes then this is an album for you. Livin’ the Die is available as a limited-to-500 edition LP here. There. Feeling happy now? Good.

Livin’ the Die tracklist:

A1. New York Street
B1. I’d Rather Be Hayin’
B2. Space Drums
B3. Route 5

Wet Tuna live:

02.27.18 - New Haven, CT - Café Nine (w/Tal National)
