White Fence has single vision with the release of Cyclops Reap

In the relatively short time that Tim Presley has been releasing music under the White Fence moniker, he’s had a pretty steady output to say the least. Last year alone saw a double album on Woodsist and a collaborative album with fellow garage rock superstar Ty Segall. He doesn’t seem to be slowing down for 2013.

On April 9 we’ll get another serving of Presley’s particular brand of psychedelic garage rock with the release of Cyclops Reap. Out on Castle Face Records, the album was originally intended to be a compilation of songs that didn’t make the first four White Fence records. However, Presley changed his mind. “as i was putting [the collection] together, there were more coming,” he says in a press release, “so, instead of a retrospective i said ‘Fuck It,’ might as well use the most current songs of the bunch.”

In addition, White Fence has some live dates lined up for this Spring (White Fence is apparently the only band not playing SXSW this year) for but expect more comprehensive tourdates announced in the near future.
