A couple days before they embark on their ridiculously extensive tour, Animal Collective have shared “Hounds of Bairro,” a track from the “Gnip Gnop / Hounds of Bairro” 7-inch. The song’s another squiggly, contrapuntal number that falls in line with the melody-driven, bizarre-chord aesthetic of their latest album, Painting With. Listen to it below. Good with cream. The 7-inch, now available online, was originally stuffed with the deluxe edition of Painting With, which was released earlier this year on Domino.
